About us

1. The Purpose

Clear answers for everyday math, without a spreadsheet.

Many small decisions wait on a formula: percentages, dates, material estimates, unit conversions, sports metrics, and classroom math. The hard part is rarely the arithmetic. It is finding a trusted tool that shows the inputs, the method, and the result on one page.

That is the gap Bro Calculator fills. We publish free calculators that run in your browser, keep the working visible, and stay usable without an account.

2. The Team

A small group building free calculators together.

We write the tools, check the formulas, and keep the pages clear so anyone can finish a calculation without a tutorial. Our catalog covers math, construction, time, conversion, everyday planning, sports, physics, statistics, and education.

What holds the site together is shared work, not a long org chart. Some of us focus on the calculators and formulas. Others shape the explanations, examples, and page structure. Together we aim for one place that is fast to open, easy to check, and free to use.

Missing a calculator, spotted a bug, or have a privacy request? Reach the team at [email protected] or through the contact form. We aim to reply within a few business days.

3. How we build and check calculators

Most calculators on this site are developed in-house. Where we use open-source components, we keep the licenses intact. The majority of tools follow well-known formulas from textbooks, standards documents, or widely published methods (for example percentage change, geometry, unit conversion, and calendar math).

Before a calculator goes live, we check sample inputs against expected outputs, review edge cases, and write page content that explains the method in plain language. If a formula has more than one common variant, we note that on the page when it matters.

Results are for information and education. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Always verify critical numbers yourself or with a qualified professional. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.

4. The Story

One calculator became a catalog.

It started with a few tools people kept asking for. Then the pattern was obvious: if someone needs a percentage, they often need dates, conversions, or a materials estimate next. Different topics. Same job. Give a precise answer in a few seconds.

We keep the catalog free and without a sign-up wall. A student, a contractor, and a parent should all be able to open a page and finish the math without a tutorial.

5. The Vision

A pocket calculator is simple, but it assumes you already know the formula. A spreadsheet can do anything if you build the sheet first. We want the middle: as quick as the first, as specific as the second.

The catalog grows as we ship new tools and improve existing ones. Whether you are studying, building, training, or planning time, we keep adding calculators until the next small problem has a page of its own.

6. Feedback

Missing a calculator? Think a result is off? Want to report a content error? Tell us. Include the page URL and the inputs you used when something looks wrong.
